Save Shaler Township
As a public official in Shaler Township for 26 years, I believe strongly that our suburban community should not be moved into a district that includes the City of Pittsburgh. Shaler and the City have little in common and vastly different needs. I believe it would make it difficult for a State Representative to have the time properly represent disparate communities. I realize that redistricting is not an easy task, but I truly believe the citizens that I represent would be better served in a district comprised of suburban constituents.
