Stop Redistricting
I understand the Pa Legislative Reapportionment Commission is planning to redraw the Quaker Valley/Sewickley District (44) map. I am strongly opposed to such a plan as I feel it will harm our community. I am a resident of Sewickley Hills. The Quaker Valley School district is small, and should be kept as one district with all 11 boroughs unified. Currently Leet and Leetsdale are not included in the 44th district and if any change is made, they should be included in the 44th so all boroughs are together in one legislative district. As for public services, Quaker Valley is planning to relocate all water and sewer services to Leetsdale. This district needs to stay together for this and all services such as fire, sewer, ambulance, etc. and for the good of the community.
