Redistricting
Horsham Township is facing unprecedented issues and splitting Horsham will jeopardize the future of every Horsham resident. It is outrageous and appalling that the Democrats are using the redistricting process to do what they haven’t been able to do for 10 years - eliminate our Republican State Representative in the 151st Legislative District. Despite the fact that the district is solidly blue and won by every other democrat, voters continue electing Todd Stephens because he works across the aisle. Redistricting is supposed to adjust districts due to changing population not to eliminate the competition. I support Dr. Kuniholm’s proposed revisions to the Commission’s preliminary maps for the 151st Legislative District which keeps Horsham whole, reduces the number of split townships and municipalities and is more compact than the Commission’s preliminary map.
