Bucks County
As a lifelong resident of Bucks County, the current proposed map for the new state house legislative districts is extremely concerning. It shifts a large amount of residents to new districts, creates many new non-competitive districts and will create confusion for residents needing continued assistance from their state representatives. This is all done for no clear reason or benefit to Bucks County as a whole, or it’s residents. Bucks County would greatly benefit from a map like Bucks Map 1B, which shifts minimal populations and reduces municipal splits. It is my hope, as well as the hope of many of my neighbors, that the Commission reconsider the current map and fix the issues with the Bucks County districts. Thank you.
