Changes to proposed redistricting

Thank you for all of the hard work you have done to create a redistricting map that is more fair than what we have had in the past, more appropriately keeping intact communities and areas that have many issues in common, and creating more opportunities for challenges to incumbents in some areas and also allowing some areas to elect people that more closely represent the raciol and economic issues in their areas. It is particularly well drawn as it keeps the major cities in the state together in the same district, leading to fairer representation of that district, instead of diluting those populations with rural and suburban voters that have very different issues of concern. Of course, this is a process and the maps are still not perfect, favoring incumbents and Republicans, but it does move the state toward a more fair vote than the last redistricting process which required the courts to intervene.
