Proposed redistricting not good for Bucks
Did the 2020 U.S. census reveal a population shift in Bucks County that was so significant as to warrant moving a third of its residents into different legislative districts as proposed in the current LRC map? Why the break-up? The Princeton Gerrymandering project rates the proposed 2021 PA State House redistricting Map with an "F", not to mean "Fair" but rather noncompetitive vs alternative proposals. Bucks Countians thrive as do communities where there's a mix of points of view and a freedom to debate and discuss issues. We all stand to gain from a healthy dose of competition, we get stronger by coming together to discuss and solve problems in innovative ways that makes us strive for more and to be the vibrant community we are. Let's keep Bucks County competitive! 10 districts, close races (no packing), then we all win.
