I have a concern about the preliminary State Senate map which fails to adequately account for the population shifts from Western parts of the state toward the Southeast that have occurred over the past decade, and which will most likely continue over the coming decade. This deficiency in the proposed map results in imbalanced representation, giving greater representation to those who live in less populated areas of the Commonwealth.
