Dear Commission. Please consider the attached map regarding redistricting Bucks County. This map is more fair and keeps communities together allowing for a better voice for us in Harrisburg. Its important to maintain as close to the original as possible. As you know, the current districts are beneficial, and the new districts would be detrimental. Some drawbacks to the LRC proposed district map are; • Municipalities are further split than under the current map • School Districts are MORE split • Complication of current casework handled by current office, shuffled over to new Legislative District • Removes the competitiveness that Bucks County is famous for • Takes control from people and gives it to parties which furthers partisanship and polarization of communities Please preserve Bucks county, as it stands today!
