Bethlehem PA house districts
The proposed map of House districts splits the City of Bethlehem into two separate districts along with outlying areas that have little in common with the City. As a resident of the west side of Bethlehem, I object to this arbitrary division since there other options which keep the City of Bethlehem within a single district. Because both political parties have been responsible for substantial gerrymandering, it is also time to delegate legislative mapping to an independent commission that does not reflect the bias of political parties.
