Comment on PA Legislative Reapportionment Maps
I am providing this comment in support of the work of the Pennsylvania Legislative Reapportionment Commission; specifically as to the proposed legislative maps. The Commission is doing their work in accordance with the Pennsylvania Constitution, and the results need to be accepted. Everyone in Pennsylvania has the right to have fair and equal representation, and if population shifts require districts to be moved to more populated areas of the state, so be it. To echo Chairman Nordenberg's January 6, 2022, Hearing comments, "legislative districts do not belong to either politicians or their parties, but instead belong to the people."
