Do not unfairly divide Lower Merion

I am a resident of Lower Merion. Every decade I get shifted to another district apart from the rest of my community. The proposed House map is not “compact” under PA law because it unfairly breaks Lower Merion and Narberth into two uneven districts and combines them with other communities in Montgomery County. If these maps pass, we will again be represented by someone who doesn't live in Lower Merion or Narberth and even with the best-intentioned and hard-working representative, the proposed House map unnecessarily puts together different communities with different needs. The proposed House map also impedes our elected officials’ ability to advocate effectively and leads to confusion in the community as to who their legislator is. I realize that our community is too large for one district but there are communities of interest like Bryn Mawr that straddles 2 counties that could be together without splitting us down the middle. Thank you for your consideration.
