Redistricting the 144th district
As a 20 year resident of New Britain Township, I feel that my voice and my vote should not be diluted or disenfranchized by obvious gerrymandering. The proposed map is obviously a political tool to concentrate certain voters into a district that purposely divides and distorts the impact of a certain region. It is beyond logic that New Britain Township would be divided into an unnatural voting configuration. The needs and desires I have in the western part of New Britain Township more closely align to those living just a few miles away in the eastern part of the township than with people living in Ivyland! The only conclusion that I can draw as to why my township is divided in the new map is to dilute the impact of the township as a whole. This is unacceptable.
