Keep Northampton 178 Together!
Creating fair legislative maps is an important task, however this current proposal makes things worse. I oppose the obviously partisan proposal to split our district. It is gerrymandering at its finest. It does not create a balanced, competitive district, and even the current republican representative has stated that it creates a district that is “clearly packed.” Our township has ONE fire department, one police department and sends students to one school district. There is no reasonable justification to move 3 voting districts to Langhorne, where we cannot expect the same equivalency in representation/local concerns. Do not split Northampton 178!
