Proposed PA House Map Rewards Political Extremism
The proposed map for state house districts will ensure that incumbents gravitate to the extreme edges of our politics because of the number of safe districts created for both major parties. This will only lead to further division and rancor and partisan gridlock. We are better served with competitive districts throughout the county. This map locks in seats for both parties and reduces the number of competitive races to one. This is not in line with he fair districting movement that many in the assembly have signed on to. Additionally, removing our incumbent representative from representing Warminster, does a great disservice to our community because of the work they have put in helping us battle the federal government regarding PFOA and PFAs contamination in our drinking water. This a matter of great importance to many people in our community and we would like to have our representative continue to advocate on our behalf and continue the considerable work they have already put in.
