Fair District Mapping 172nd District (NE Phila.)
I am a resident and candidate for State Representative of Northeast Philadelphia. My State House District is PA 172nd. I believe that District 172 must be mapped in such a way that one Political party should not have an advantage over the other party's candidate. In the current mapping, this District looks really confusing and unfair. It literally looks like a strange shape of a standing puppy. Some of the streets and divisions are cutoff from others favoring the majority party candidate. The current mapping always gives the majority party's candidate an edge and an unfair advantage over the minority. It is the time that this mapping must be changed, so all people have equal and fair representation. It is the time that District must be dawn fairly where both parties have equal and logical proportional representation by merging all connecting divisions and streets in one piece based on data.
