Opposed to Redistricting the 168th
I am opposed to the proposed redistricting of the Congressional and Legislative district boundaries in the 168th District. Our District has been together for 50 years and has created a strong community environment. The proposed plan is not good for our community and is very divisive to its residence. For example, we live in the Rose Tree Media School District, which is comprised of Upper Providence Twp, Media Borough, Middletown Twp and Edgmont Twp. The Proposal would remove Upper Providence and Media out of our legislative District. As a school commumity, how are we to come together when our school district is divided and could potentially be represented by 3 differenct legislators?! This makes no sense! The current proposal takes our one Legislative District and divides it into 4 separate Districts. So I respectfully say NO to the redistricting of the 168th District and please leave our long-standing community in tact. Thank you!
