Keep LOWER BUCK COUNTY TOGETHER

Good Afternoon, I have been a long time resident of Feasterville, Bucks County. When anyone asks where I am from, I proudly say Lower Bucks. Even growing up in neighboring Somerton NE Philly we called the area Lower Bucks! It’s honestly part of our identity here. All of us who live in Bucks County knows that we really have three different counties within our borders: Lower Bucks, Middle Bucks, and Upper Bucks. If you ask anyone the dividing line between Lower Bucks and Middle Bucks has always been Route 1 and the dividing Line between Middle Bucks and Upper Bucks is a little more flexible, but in reality, it is anything North of Doylestown. I live in Feasterville-Trevose, in Lower Bucks County, which is Lower Southampton Township or Lower South. Many of the townships in Lower Bucks County blend together. For example, somebody might say they live in "Levittown," but that could mean Middletown Township, Bristol Township, or Falls Township. The identity of "Levittown" has always meant Lower Buck County. I have read that right now, Pennsylvania's Sixth Senatorial District has much of Lower Bucks County, but instead of Falls Township, it includes Northampton Township - which is part of the heart of Middle Bucks County. Meanwhile, Falls Township is in the Tenth Senatorial District, with much of Middle Bucks County. To be fair and honest these districts are inauthentic and very disingenuous to us here in Lower Bucks. Please keep Lower Bucks County together: The Southamptons, Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown, Tullytown, and Falls Township have always been Lower Bucks. There is no reason to change this for any purpose! As stated before I don’t identity with being called a Middle Bucks resident or a Doylestown resident. Doylestown itself seems as far a distant as South Philadelphia to me! KEEP LOWER BUCKS LOWER BUCKS! And our senate districts intact. I want representation who knows my community.
