Some State senate districts on the preliminary districtbuilder map are bizarre shapes that should be made more compact. Examples are 2, which has a wasp waist, 4, which has a silly finger, 7, which has both a silly finger and a weird slot, 11, which has a slender isthmus, 16, which is forced into a horseshoe to wrap around 11, 17, which has slots, holes, and a projection, 19, which has a silly finger into a slot in 17, 21, which has odd nubs and dimples, 43, which has peninsulas on peninsulas and holes, 45 with peninsulas, almost discontiguous bits within 43, and pincers around a peninsula from 43. There are other suspicious shapes, but these are the glaring ones at first glance.
