Two State House Districts for State College Area
The growth of the State College/Centre Region justifies splitting the current legislative district that includes State College into two. The population of the State College/Centre Region is approaching the population of two PA State House Districts. I urge the General Assembly to consider the boundaries of the State College Area School District while adding portions of another School District or two. With the new boundaries, the State College Area School District will be represented by two PA State House Districts, not three or more. If this would require splitting the Borough of State College between two PA State House Districts, that's fine. I am a resident of the Borough of State College. Several other State College residents have told me the same.
