State Maps
My name is Kay Rock. I live in Doylestown Borough. I would like to thank Chairman Nordenberg and his team for their hard work in developing redistricting maps. I believe the state House map to be fair and compact. Thank you. The state Senate map, however, appears to be "packed." My request to the committee is to revise the preliminary state senate map to correspond to the existing county regions: Lower Bucks, Central Bucks, and Upper Bucks. This would create 3 fair and compact districts that adhere to existing county regions and align the economic, environmental and social challenges of each region to best serve the interests of the county. This approach meets all constitutional requirements and has received strong advocacy from community leaders and many citizens. At least two maps for this recommendation have been submitted. Please give them your serious consideration. Thank you.
