Prison Gerrymandering
I'm a citizen in Skippack Township, one-third of which is occupied by State Correctional Institutes Phoenix and Graterford. The citizens in the SCIs have had no choice in their residency here or in the length of their residency here. Their representation should represent their interests and families in their home neighborhoods and districts, not mine, regardless of the length of their criminal sentence or time served.
