Fair Maps

I am a concerned citizen living in Upper Bucks County. I am voicing my objection to the plans to redistrict the voting maps in Bucks County. I agree with the League of Women Voters and the former director of Bucks County Planning Commission that the maps should have one district in Upper Bucks, one district in Central Bucks, and one district in Lower Bucks. This would correspond with the challenges of each individual district, whether economic, social or environmental. Instead some of the maps being considered include gerrymandering and packing to minimize the power of the voters. I am asking that the committee revise the preliminary map to create three compact districts as stated above. This would create a fair election map, not one drawn up to help self-serving politicians. Please consider serving the best interests of the voters of Bucks County.
