Gerrymandering and Packing
I am a concerned citizen living in Upper Bucks County. I am voicing my concerns with the plans to redistrict the voting maps in Bucks County. Some of the maps being considered include gerrymandering and packing to minimize the power of voters. The map should have one district in Upper Bucks, one district in Central Bucks, and one district in Lower Bucks. This would correspond with the challenges of each district, whether economic, social or environmental. I am asking that the committee revise the preliminary map to create three compact districts as stated above. This would be a fair election map, not one drawn up to help self-serving politicians. Please consider serving the best interests of Bucks County.
