Concern over redistricting the 60th district.
I am concerned over the proposed redistricting for the 60th district. As proposed, it would put the County Seat along with Rayburn Township, West Kittanning Borough, Kittanning Township, Ford City Borough, Manor Township, East Franklin and West Franklin Townships, and Worthington all in the 63rd district. This move would fragment the town of Kittanning and its residents; furthermore it puts Armstrong School District and Lower Burrel School District into two legislative districts. This move would put undo strain on both school districts in a time where funding is critical. This current proposal seems unfair and actually detrimental to its citizens. Please reconsider this and keep the 60th district all within Armstrong County.
