Re-Districting Plans
First, I want to thank the LRC, Chairman Nordenberg and the team, for all the work you have done and will continue to do to make the House and Senate districts fair and balanced geographically. The draft map I saw of the House districts (mine is 158) appears to be more compact and contiguous than previous ones. The Senate map, however, needs work. It should more closely adhere to county lines, be more compact, to more fairly represent both parties of the people. I am not an expert on this and have not drawn a map. I am, however, a voter, who expects that my House Rep and Senator know my area and can understand issues I bring to them. Thank you.
