Plumstead / Doylestown lines PA 143rd
I am firmly opposed to the redistricting of the PA 143rd district and the surrounding doylestown borough, township and plumstead township lines. The fact is there is no need to change the lines and doing so will only serve partisan interests that negatively impact the residents. The townships of plumstead and doylestown have similar residents that in particular all fall in the Central Bucks School District. Splitting plumstead away breaks this school district, and quite simply residents and parents of children living in the township are opposed to any such plan. We all moved to plumstead in part because of the school district. Any plan that changes the school districts is quite simply unacceptable. Further residents see no reason to change the current lines. Bottom line: Leave the lines between plumstead and doylestown townships unchanged.
