District 145
East Rockhill of 145th District has been drawn out of the district and added to the 143th District. Anyone who knows the area knows that Perkasie, Sellersville, East Rockhill and West Rockhill have long been one community that have the same area interest and should have one representative. 143th District is dominated by the Doylestown area and related towns right around it in the south of the district and will not have the interest of East Rockhill in the far northwest cut out of the 145 District in mind when they considering district concerns. If you take a quick look at the proposed redistricting map it looks totally out of place how East Rockhill was cut out of the middle of the 145 District edge separating Perkasie from its long time neighboring communities. I do not believe this proposed modification would be in the best interest of the local community.
