Hummelstown
I am 100% opposed to the preliminary redistricting map that would put Hummelstown in the 104th legislative district. Doing so would create a division in our community and in our school district. I have been a part of Hummelstown for the last 40+ years and have been involved with the Lower Dauphin School District throughout my children's entire educational experience. I cannot imagine the damage that would result in the decision-making processes that would be caused because of the broken network connection within the school district. During these difficult times of suffering hardships and adversity, it has become even more imperative that we continue reuniting, strengthening and reigniting our current relationships rather than weakening and disintegrating them. I am strongly requesting the Pennsylvania Legislative Reapportionment Commission to reconsider the decision that would remove Hummelstown from their current 106th district in which the rest of the Lower Dauphin School District resides.
