Oppose redistricting House 178
I am in support of the unanimous resolution submitted by Northampton Township Board of Supervisors to oppose reapportionment and to keep Northampton exclusively in the 178th legislative district. The current plan would move Northampton Districts 9, 10 & 14 from the 178th Legislative District (Representative Wendi Thomas) to the 142nd Legislative District (Representative Frank Farry). This makes absolutely no sense and would be harmful to our Township and our residents of those three Districts since Ms Thomas has been involved with them as a long-term School Board Member and as a multi-term State Representative and is familiar with their needs.
