Dividing School Districts Into Several Districts

I am opposed to school districts being divided up into multiple voting districts, as this tends to dilute and diminish the representation of the school district in the State legislature. I am also opposed to districts being drawn with highly irregular borders that appear to serve no legitimate purpose and are a hallmark of gerrymandering. This is particularly true where there is virtually no contiguousness to the proposed district, as drawn. I also feel strongly that population totals from one district to another should be relatively equal. More densely populated areas should have more representatives and sparsely populated districts should be consolidated.
