Reaction to LRC maps
I am disappointed in the lack of change to the PA Senate map for Delaware County. It does nothing to improve a more balanced representation of voters. In particular, dividing line between the 9th and 26th should be changed to provide a "straighter" line and not divide the Wallingford-Swarthmore school district. I also question continuing to include part of Philadelphia in the 8th district. The current and proposed maps serve an examples of dividing up blocs of voters I order to weaken the influence of certain communities.
