82nd District redistricting
Both my wife and I are opposed to any changes or redistricting considerations made to the 82nd District due to the following reasons. There are currently many shared publicly funded services partnered between Juniata and Mifflin counties that would be displaced and/or have to be reorganized most likely at taxpayer inconvenience and expense. Furthermore, if the proposed redistricting occurs, many residents of the eastern portion of Juniata County will be forced to travel a much farther distance to the home local office of their state representative which would then be located in Mifflinburg. Thank you for any and all of your consideration to our comments. Also, our hopes that the 82nd District would remain just as it currently is, and that wisdom and discernment will prevail.
