District 54
I must object to the redrawn district maps for the PA State House of Representatives, specifically as it pertains to the former 54 district, in which I live. The LRC vote in favor of a radically redrawn legislative map that fundamentally and unconstitutionally restructures the legislature to favor a New Democratic majority. The new map shows no concern for county lines or school districts, and communities are separated for political advantage. My district, District 54 was split up 4 ways. I urge you to reconsider this plan and redraw the map to respect current boundaries as much as possible and especially preserve the integrity of District 54, as well other districts that were broken up in a similar manner.
