Protecting Latino Voters
I am a resident of Allentown and stand to believe the proposed map to be unconstitutional. You are not supposed to split municipalities unless absolutely necessary. And in these maps, both Allentown and Bethlehem are separately split. The split of Allentown is bad for Allentown residents and parents. As one of the most underfunded school districts in the state, splitting our voting power will make it more difficult to fight for a fair education funding system that will help our city residents.
