HD-168 Gerrymander!
As a long term resident of Middletown Township, I am writing to state that we should strive to keep our school districts and communities together. The proposed maps split Middletown and also they split Marple Newtown School District into 3 separate legislative districts and RTM School District is split into 3 as well. Aside from keeping our school districts whole, if we were to add another municipality, Aston, would be an ideal option because we share resources with them. Aston and Middletown, in addition, to sharing municipal services and contracts including sewage, paving etc. also share some sports teams and sports facilities. Do us all a favor, please keep our communities of interest together! Media Borough, Middletown Twp. Upper Providence, and Edgmont should not be split.
