Lehigh County Maps
I am a single mother with two children. Both of my children are half Hispanic. I am glad to see that you are trying to create a minority influence district. The map that I saw from Fair Districts looked like it was better drawn and more thoughtful. It looks like the Fair District maps was even more minority influence than the one proposed. I saw that a number of my friends were drawn out of the district. We have all been fighting for better schools in Allentown. It looks like you are trying to divide us up. We may all have our kids in the same school but we will have two senators rather than one. I believe the only reason Senator Browne helped us was because we could be noisy and we had strength in numbers. I would ask that you try to minimize the impact to Allentown. There is no reason to split Allentown. I also do not understand how Allentown has anything similar to the rural areas Northampton. The map should be more Lehigh County focused. Please do your best to support our county.
