Keep the 82nd District in the Juniata Valley
Mifflin and Juniata counties should not be separated. These are two areas who work with one another through agencies such as the Area of Aging, Human Services, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission, Special Needs Centers, Penn State Extension programs, Shared Ride transportation, and more. We share a vocational school, hospital, prison, chamber of commerce, visitor bureau. It makes no sense for the two to be split up in these new preliminary maps. We want a local representation, not someone who lives 45 mins-hour away in another community. Do not separate the Juniata Valley.
